Growing up in the Midwest, in a middle of nowhere little town, I grew up watching the seasons change, the storms roll in, amazing sunsets, and saw night skies like you would never believe. It all had a lasting effect on me and led me into photography at an early age.
I started landscape photography when I was 16, shooting with my father’s old Minolta film camera. It was a lot of fun to explore new areas, and experiment with photography. In college, I became more involved and started processing my film images, and learning a lot about the photographic process, the art, and what makes a photograph brilliant, while sending a beautiful message.
Over the years I have practiced, explored, and learned more than I ever imagined. All through a passion that was ignited when I was small boy in a town of less than 100 people. Now I travel all over North America, capturing photographs and hand crafting them into stories to share with everyone who wants to see the world, through my lens.
